‘Low Income Displacements’ Billboard Installation

In the run up to the hearing for the proposed Hondo Tower in Brixton, Save Nour commissioned three artworks (#ARTWORKSOFRESISTANCE) for Brixton communities to experience in public space that aimed to amplify local voices and experiences of gentrification. I am delighted to announce that I was selected as one of the artists. A specially commissioned piece, (developed from my Signs Of Development series) went on display on a giant billboard in the heart of Brixton, at the junction of Atlantic Road and Coldharbour Lane (opposite the iconic Dogstar) and directly in front of the location of the proposed 20 storey tower. Installed in collaboration with Build Hollywood / Jack Arts. On display from 27th September to 10th October 2021.  Find out more on instagram.
